Hugo Robert Hodges arrived at 9:34am on Monday 21st March weighing 2355 grams (5lb 3oz) by caesarian section at 33 weeks and 3 days. Hugo is 47cm long and has a head circumference of 31.5cm. Marnie is recovering well on the ward and Hugo has been admitted to NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). Hugo is adorable and we are amazed by his size and his beautiful skin tone. He has CPAP (mask to help with breathing) on and is in an incubator where he will stay until he recovers from the birth.

Congratulations to you, Marnie, Andrew and Eva. Hugo is beautiful and looks like a good, healthy boy, particularly considering his early arrival.
Hope you recover well and enjoy learning more about your new little person and how he will fit into your family

Welcome to the world Hugo! I hope things continue to go well. I had my first preemie at 33 and 3 too, and he’s doing great at almost 3 now. Enjoy getting to know your new boy who is just beautiful (and quite big!) I wish marnie and speedy recovery from surgery, Hugo a short NICU stay, and you and Eva some fun adjusting to an expanded family.
