Today I am grateful for another playground and beach adventure
Today I am super grateful for this heart-shaped stone. Eva picked this up and brought it straight to me and said “Look at this heart-shaped rock! I love you Mummy” and then gave it to me with a kiss. This is just what I needed after a tumultuous morning with my strong-willed first-born daughter.
Today I am grateful for Gran and Pop taking Eva and Hugo on an adventure on a train (their first time in NZ) to a new playground with lots to climb and explore.
Today I am grateful for willing grandparents who enjoyed lots of grandchildren time while mama caught up on chores.
I am grateful for my children’s joy at the gifts that were purchased for them on an outing today. Eva just loves this new bubble blower and Hugo loves his rescue helicopter.
Today I am grateful for a visit to Russell and for the beautiful views on the drive back to the main highway.
I am grateful for a visit from Bindy and Tash as part of their Great New Zealand Adventure. It’s so nice to see friends from home.
Today I am grateful for stepping over the stones in a row at Keri Keri
I am grateful for time at the beach while mummy had a reviving quiet time at home
Today I am grateful for Ruth and Bob (Andrew’s parents) arriving safely and for our journey to Paihia in the Bay of Islands.
I am grateful for lots of fun on the beach earlier this morning at Waipu Cove.
Today I am grateful for a bonus Daddy day heading into a long weekend which meant that Andrew could watch swimming lessons.
And most importantly visit Eva at Kindy!
Today I am grateful for the joy that Andrew had with the arrival of this scooter today!
Today I am grateful for libraries that hire out cute children’s movies for days when little ones just need to rest and recuperate. Eva enjoyed learning about coral reefs and ocean life.
Today I am grateful this buddy who I hung around with today and who “helped” me to clean.
I am grateful for this boy having a sleep when he was needing one and for the special things that have to accompany him.
I am grateful for craft night via skype with Gabriel. So much chatting.
